Getting to Plough Road From the Heads of the Valleys

1. At the end of the Heads of the Valleys road follow the signs for Newport (A4042)
2. Follow the road for approximately 5.6 miles
3. Turn left at the Goytre Arms and follow the road through the village
4. The road crosses the railway on a stone bridge - marked by stone walls either side of the road
5. Immediately after the bridge turn right onto Plough Road (turn right at the Green painted house)
6. Continue out of village along Plough Road, the ground is approximately 1/2 mile on your left.


Getting to Plough Road from the M4 Corridor

1. Leave the M4 at Junction 26 and head northwest along Malpas Road
2. At Woodlands Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A4042 - go 0.3 mi
3. At Croes-y-Mwyalch Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A4042 - go 1.2 mi
4. At Crown Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Turnpike Road - go 0.8 mi
5. At Turnpike Roundabout/Cylchfan Dyrpeg, take the 2nd exit onto Croesyceiliog By-Pass - go 1.3 mi
6. At A4042, take the 2nd exit onto A4042 - go 1.1 mi
7. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A4042 - go 1.0 mi
8. At A4042/A472, take the 3rd exit onto A4042/A472 - go 1.0 mi
9. At Usk Road, take the 2nd exit onto Usk Road - go 0.9 mi
10. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Usk Road - go 1.7 mi
11. Turn right at the Goytre Arms and follow the road through the village
12. The road crosses the railway on a stone bridge - marked by stone walls either side of the road
13. Immediately after the bridge turn right onto Plough Road (turn right at the Green painted house)
